Amy Boers   After living and working in London and Italy, Amy Boers has returned to Australia to launch the ameè label.   Amy spent three years in London, advancing her career in the great capital's competitive fashion environment.  And while there she continued to develop her skill-set and pursue her studies.   She made regular trips to Italy where she stayed for extended periods.  This allowed her to keep up to date with all the current European trends, and to gain a much deeper understanding of one of the world's most respected fashion capitals.   In order to immerse herself in the culture Amy decided to live for a time in Italy, and while in Rome, she completed a formal Italian language course.  She believes it's important for her to be able to communicate in another language.    Amy was no stranger to the artistic world.  During her early and middle schooling she attended a Rudolf Steiner school, where she was encouraged to develop her creative talents, and gain a sound knowledge of the classics and fine arts.   She began designing at an early age and made many of her own outfits, which, even then reflected her individual style, as well as her appreciation for and love of European design.        Amy's profession work began while she was living in London, and it was there she started working on the ameè range.   Within weeks of returning to Sydney, Amy started preparing for the launch of her first Australian collection, which was a great success. But she wasted no before starting on the next collection and has just released an exciting new range of after-five styles.   Amy is committed to providing the best of European style to Australian women, and to making it easy for them to access innovative, high quality garments.   In a recent interview she stated ‘quality and innovation are vital elements of good design.’   She went on to give her assurance that her ameè label is committed to producing quality garments that will excite and satisfy the most discerning women.
